Turns out, the Braxton Berrios signing was NOT a deterrent for the Giants to add another wide receiver from Monday's workout.
According to multiple reports, Big Blue is reuniting with Odell Beckham Jr., as the two sides agreed to a one-year deal to bring the three-time Pro Bowler back to where it all began. Beckham's signing comes just hours after the team also signed Braxton Berrios to a deal after he, Beckham, and JuJu Smith-Schuster worked out at the Giants facility.
Beckham, 33, led the league in receiving yards per game in a sparkling rookie season with New York in 2014, beginning a run of three straight Pro Bowl seasons where he was one of the best wide receivers in all of football. Injuries and multiple controversies slowed his ascent and ultimately led to him being traded, and Beckham was never able to recapture the highs of his early career with Big Blue. He did not play in 2025 after being suspended six games for violating the NFL's policy against performance-enhancing drugs, and in 2024, he appeared in just nine games for the Dolphins, none of them in a starting role.
Clearly, Beckham's role this time around with the Giants will be far different from the one he took on when he was drafted 12th overall, but he does join a reloading offense that will hopefully include a healthy Malik Nabers to maximize the weapons around Jaxson Dart.
Beckham will likely have to earn his playing time, but for now, his return completes an anticipated reunion that has been gaining steam for months.
The reunion is now official after Beckham worked out for Big Blue again on Monday.
