Jalen Ramsey might be one of the NFL's best-known trash talkers -- but there's one beef he doesn't want to discuss.

The loquacious Los Angeles Rams star cornerback clammed up on Friday when he was asked by reporters for the first time about his ongoing feud with Giants wide receiver Golden Tate, which boiled over into a postgame scrum after the Rams' win over Big Blue at SoFi Stadium last week.

Ramsey's first response was a simple two words, the Los Angeles Times reported.

"No comment," he said.

Pressed further about whether he was expecting a potential suspension for his role in the fracas, Ramsey seemed to become annoyed.

“I already said no comment, but no,” Ramsey said.

Asked to confirm what he discussed with Rams coach Sean McVay following the melee, Ramsey again wasn't showing his cards.

“You going to keep making me say no comment? Is that what you all want? ... Everybody has kind of answered it already, and I keep telling you no comment.”

Neither Ramsey nor Tate has detailed the specifics of their enmity, but reports suggest the falling out was over Ramsey's breakup with Tate's sister, with whom he has two children.

Ramsey reportedly called off the relationship while Tate's sister was carrying their second child.

Tate similarly declined to address the situation after practice on Thursday, citing the Giants' upcoming game against the division-rival Cowboys.

“Honestly, it’s Dallas week," Tate said. "I don’t want to backpedal and discuss that, because I don’t think going back to that is going to help us this week. I don’t want to draw anymore attention or put anymore highlights out there that don’t have anything to do with Dallas. I want to keep moving forward and get a win this week.”

Asked if he regretted his role in the brawl, Tate declined to comment.

An ESPN report said the incident nearly carried over after the teams finally separated and retreated from the field, with Ramsey apparently waiting to confront Tate outside the Giants locker room. They never crossed paths, however.

Earlier in the week, Giants coach Joe Judge seemed miffed over the incident.

“This isn’t why we play the game," he said. "We have 60 minutes to beat the hell out of each other, legally, between the whistles. We don’t need anything extra after.”
