JuJu Smith-Schuster threw some shade at the Giants after former Big Blue wide receiver Kadarius Toney made a huge impact on the Chiefs winning Sunday’s Super Bowl classic.

“That boy got here, and I don't know what the Giants was doing with KT, but bro, he's a dog,” Smith-Schuster said. “Brett Veach and Andy Reid, they know how to pick and choose who to go get for this team.”

Toney hauled in a go-ahead touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, and later in the game, logged the longest punt return in Super Bowl history, a 65-yarder, to put Kansas City in business again. It was a far cry from the end of Toney’s tenure with Big Blue, which concluded with a trade for two draft picks after injuries and absences from the team’s voluntary offseason program soured the team on the former first-round pick’s dedication.

But Toney showed up for his current team when it counted, though it was hard for some Giants fans to be mad about Toney’s contributions, considering he helped prevent the rival Eagles from another Super Bowl win.
