Joe Douglas told reporters on Wednesday that talk is cheap, and if the Jets want to change the narrative around them, they simply need to go out and win next season.
Boomer says they better, because if they don’t, Douglas and several others will be out of a job.
“This is gonna be the most important offseason for the Jets and the people that are working over there,” Boomer said. “If they go and have another awful year, then Woody Johnson is gonna pull the plug and go in a different direction, and it will be the end of Aaron Rodgers here.
“Everybody’s job is on the line.”
No pressure, Douglas and company.
