BT goes scorched earth on Jets, calls for Joe Douglas, Aaron Rodgers to be shown the door
Brandon Tierney was expecting big things from the Jets in 2024, but after five straight losses, including an embarrassing defeat against Jacoby Brissett and the Patriots on Sunday, he is ready to blow it all up.
Nobody was safe from BT’s fiery Jets rant, especially owner Woody Johnson. But in the end, he called for an all-out house cleaning and starting anew.
“They’re chipping away at me...it’s never gonna change until the owner sells the team,” BT said. “Woody Johnson is the connection to this ineptitude. He’s the worst owner in the NFL. He absolutely stinks.
“Joe Douglas should be fired. Every single coach should be fired. Aaron Rodgers should be told ‘There’s the door, it didn’t work out, you’re not playing here next year. Get lost.’”
BT is ready to wave the white flag on what has suddenly become a miserable season, and he says he would be willing to trade anyone and everyone before the trade deadline next week.
“I’m at the point now, whether it’s Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson…the trade deadline is November 5. I am dead serious when I say…I would trade anybody,” BT said. “I would trade multiple good, young players. Start over.”
Even then, BT isn’t sure it would bring about real change until there is a change at the very top.
“It is the owner. Woody Johnson is a colossal failure and a colossal embarrassment,” BT said. “Until he’s gone, they will not win and sustain nothing except this circus.”
