The Jets put together one of their best wins of the season on Sunday, but BT was anything but happy.
In fact, BT was livid at the coaching staff for keeping Zach Wilson “handcuffed” all season until the second half of Sunday’s win, when the offense finally woke up.
“The Jets should be absolutely embarrassed today. They should be more embarrassed today than several other points this season, which really says something,” BT said. “They flushed the season down the chute because they coached scared…the Jets coaches coached scared. At this point - and I mean this - I would prefer that every offensive coach and the head coach leave the building before Zach Wilson leaves the building.”
While many still maintain that Wilson shouldn’t be back next season, even after Sunday’s 300-yard performance, BT says it should be the offensive coaching staff should be out the door before Wilson goes.
“Zach Wilson is a bigger asset than any coach in that building other than [Jeff] Ulbrich,” BT said. “The New York Jets…that was another illumination of how pathetic they have been this year. The first time they finally take the handcuffs off this kid, he was exactly what I told you and everyone else that he would be: a star.”
