Amid Mecole Hardman trashing the Jets on The Pivot Podcast, BT came into Wednesday’s show fuming about his team once again being the laughingstock of the league.
“I am reminded that the New York Jets are not only the biggest joke in the city, but the New York Jets are the biggest joke in sports,” BT said. “The crazy thing is, I don’t think either one of these guys is wrong. The joke is on us.”
The other guy to roast the Jets this week was Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins, who blasted Gang Green when asked about their postgame altercation after Buffalo’s blowout win over New York last season. Now Hardman, a former Jet, has called out the team’s culture, specifically on the offensive end, and it has BT lamenting the state of the organization all over again.
“I can’t stand what this team does to me. I really can’t,” BT said. “Nobody ruins my day like the Jets.
“Even if Hardman is wrong - probably not - even if Dion Dawkins is wrong - probably not…but even if they are wrong, maybe the 41-year-old quarterback can fix it. Maybe the clueless head coach can fix it…even when I want to escape these guys, I can’t. Their patheticness just swallows you up.”
