Episode two of Hard Knocks showed a feistier side of Robert Saleh, as he ripped into his offensive line after a rough showing at joint practice.
For many, it was exactly what they were looking for from Saleh, who many believed seemed too nice and too laid back in the premiere episode, even sometimes taking a back seat to Aaron Rodgers leading the way. But BT wasn’t too encouraged by the Saleh he saw in episode two. In fact, he didn’t see it as anything more than a front, and a response to the criticism from last week’s episode.
“There’s the other Robert Saleh, who made an appearance on the FAN…and said, ‘the best coached teams in the world coach themselves,’” BT said, noting Saleh’s interview on Evan and Tiki where he responded to the criticism from episode one. “I believe, unfortunately for us, the real Robert Saleh is the one that was on WFAN.
“The first episode of Hard Knocks, everyone is hammering Robert Saleh. ‘Who is the alpha?’ you know he heard it. coincidentally, or not coincidentally, Robert Saleh puts on an f-bomb show for the cameras…I think it’s just a reaction to what everyone was saying.”
Sal took a more optimistic approach, believing that Saleh has always had that fire in him, and let it out at the right time as seen in episode two.
“I enjoyed watching Hard Knocks episode two,” Sal said. “I loved it because that is what I wanted to see from the head coach of the team….Saleh, to me, looked like, acted, like, and sounded like a real coach.”
BT still wasn’t sold, and doesn’t believe the tirade was authentic.
“You know what the key word there is?” BT said. “‘Acted.’”
