The Bills put the hammer down on the Jaguars on Monday night, rolling to a 47-10 win in which starters were pulled on both sides by the end of the third quarter.
Josh Allen was masterful once again, completing 23 of 30 passes for 260 yards and four touchdowns, and Chris McMonigle couldn’t help but watch and dream about the hype of a Jets/Bills clash next month.
“Buffalo looks like the class of the division, and three weeks in, the class of the NFL. They have the MVP at quarterback,” C-Mac said. “You can sit back as a Jet fan, watch them decimate the Jaguars, and say ‘OK, this is my competition. This is the team I’m going to be battling for the division. This is the team that, in two weeks, I’m going to have to play to see who is the class of this division halfway through the season.’”
With Tua Tagovailoa’s injury, C-Mac says the Dolphins are out of the running, and it’s going to come down to New York and Buffalo. That first matchup is three weeks away, and C-Mac hopes both teams come into it riding high to see who is going to rule the division.
“We are setting up for Josh Allen vs. Aaron Rodgers...you have to make sure you take care of business before that Buffalo game,” C-Mac said. “Man, I cannot wait for this matchup, and they better not stub their toe against the Broncos.
“It’s all about winning this division and getting back into the playoffs and ending this 13-year drought. Watching Josh Allen play, it’s going to be one hell of a ride...this is a two-team race for the AFC East.”
