The Jets have managed just six wins over the past two years, and haven’t had a winning campaign in six years. In those six years, only one hasn’t ended with double digit losses.
Needless to say, New York hasn’t been seen as a franchise that carries much promise over the past decade, but Morgan Moses has a different perspective after seeing things from an inside perspective after signing with the team this past summer.

“I think it’s a great organization,” Moses said. “I think everybody in here has a plan, and it’s playing out. You’ve got your quarterback, you’ve got people that can come in and help, and I don’t think it’s far away. We just have to keep pushing that button and we’ll get there.”
The Jets are trying again at another rebuild, this time with Joe Douglas in the front office and Robert Saleh on the sidelines. It didn’t materialize into wins this season, but New York does have a young core that it believes in as it heads towards a draft where they will have nine picks. Moses believes that’s the recipe for a successful rebuild that is already underway.
“You got guys coming out here and buying into the system and working their tails off…that’s a trickle-down effect of your coach that just wants you to get better,” Moses said. “When you get that, that’s contagious, and you want to be a part of it.”
Whether Moses will be around for the rest of the rebuild remains to be seen. The pending free agent was a solid performer on the offensive line for Gang Green this season, and he has said he is open to returning. If he does, he believes he will be returning to a franchise that is headed in the right direction.
“I think this organization has the makeup of being a great organization,” Moses said. “I think the winning is right around the corner.
“We’ve got some great pieces and we’ve got some draft picks this year to get some more pieces. I look forward to seeing what’s gonna go on.”
