Breece Hall joined Evan and Tiki on Friday afternoon to settle the running back’s debate with Tiki over his blazing speed.
Hall poked fun at Tiki after Tiki suggested that he “wasn’t a 4.4 guy” in regards to his 40-yard dash, posting on social media after Sunday’s game, “Somebody tell Tiki I ran a 4.39.”
When he joined the show on Friday, Hall and Tiki joked about the interaction, and the 40 translating to speed on the field once the pads are on and defenders are in the way.
“It still translates on the field a little bit,” Hall said. “I do think your 40 should have the most to do with what your overall speed is on Madden. I think that should be the metric they use.
“I just wanted to give you some crap about it.”
Tiki made the comment after Hall broke a 72-yard touchdown run, the highlight of a game in which he carried the ball 22 times for 177 yards. As he moves further away from his ACL surgery, Hall feels more comfortable taking on a heavier workload.
“I can handle whatever,” Hall said. “Any amount to get the win. It felt good that the coaches kept calling my number, but it also feels good knowing I have guys in Dalvin [Cook] and Michael Carter that can do what I do.”
