With the No. 73 overall pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected Florida State CB Azareye’h Thomas.
The pick was also announced by John Abraham, who had announced the second-round selection of TE Mason Taylor earlier.
Thomas spent three years in Tallahassee, notching 93 tackles (8 for loss), 2 interceptions, and 19 pass breakups. The 2024 season was his best overall, with 48 tackles, one pick, and five pass breakups, which earned him Honorable Mention All-ACC honors.
His NFL.com Prospect Profile grade was 6.32, which is Will Eventually Be A Plus Starter, a great value for the third round.
