Keith believes the Jets are in for a rude awakening on Sunday against the Eagles, and the thrill of winning for Nathaniel Hackett in Week 5 will wear off in a hurry.
“It’s not gonna be the same rodeo,” Keith said. “Those guys are in a higher weight class.”
If the Jets want to try and accomplish the improbable and take down the reigning NFC champs, they will need to run the offense through Breece Hall, and not their quarterback, no matter how much the team wants to believe in him.
“He is the guy. No more pitch counts, no more limits,” Keith said of Hall. “He can take you where you want to be. Do not call me and tell me Zach Wilson made progress. Stop putting lipstick on a pig. I get it, you don’t want to give up on an NFL season, and that the drought can end. But Zach Wilson leaves too much to be desired…you can do better. That defense deserves better.”
