The Jets had all kinds of kicking problems in 2021, and they have made an attempt to stabilize the position by signing former Cowboys kicker Greg Zuerlein.
The 34-year-old is renowned for his accuracy from distance, as he was the first player in NFL history to hit two field goals from 58 yards or deeper in the same game, and the first to hit a 50-plus and 60-plus yard boot in the same game. But he struggled last season due to offseason back surgery, which may have been affecting him.

Last year, while trying to regain his form following the surgery, Zuerlein finished 23rd in the league in field goal percentage among kickers with at least 10 starts. Eddy Pineiro will likely be his competition for the kicking role.
