Things have gotten so bad for the Jets over the last two weeks, even the biggest legend in franchise history is starting to question the state of the franchise.

In a series of posts on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday, Joe Namath called out the team’s offensive game plan, Zach Wilson’s play, and the future of organization’s leadership during Gang Green’s 15th straight loss to the rival Patriots.

The post that caught the most traction was Namath’s last post of the day, which declared, “If the team doesn’t start playing better you’ve gotta start looking at the coaches and general manager.”

Namath also observed that the Jets’ pass patterns and receiver routes looked “predictable,” and in terms of Wilson, added, “I’m starting to wonder if Zach’s playing like he’s being coached. He’s making choices that are not intuitive to the quarterback position.”

Namath, who was excited to see the Jets bring in Aaron Rodgers, so much so that he offered to unretired his No. 12, said it was “disgusting” to see Wilson and the Jets throw short of the first down marker on third down plays, and yelled for Wilson to step into the pocket rather than be so quick to scramble out.

Clearly, Broadway Joe did not like what he saw on Sunday.
