The Jets season will end as it began.

According to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, Gang Green will now start Joe Flacco in Sunday’s season finale against the Dolphins, as Mike White will be out due to a ribs injury suffered against the Bills earlier this season.

White sat for two games after his ribs injury, leading to Zach Wilson taking back the starting role, but after two straight flops, White was the starter again last weekend, but looked like a shell of himself in a loss to the Seahawks. Now, after initially expected to be inactive on Sunday, Wilson will be the backup to Flacco.

Flacco began the season as the Jets starter while Wilson was nursing a knee injury suffered in preseason action. Flacco came in for quick spurts against Buffalo while White battled through his ribs injury, but to disastrous results. Now, he will try to play spoiler with Miami looking to avoid a December collapse and clinch a playoff berth.
