NFL Twitter roasts former Jets safety Jamal Adams after Russell Wilson trade

Jamal Adams demanded a trade from the Jets, in search of a big payday, which he received from the Seahawks in the form of a $70 million deal, which made him the highest paid safety in the league.

Adams, who suffered a torn labrum in early December and missed the remainder of the season, also wanted to play for a contender, which Seattle always had the potential to be so long as it had its star quarterback in Russell Wilson. Well, that is no longer the case, as the Seahawks have reportedly dealt Wilson to the Broncos for a massive haul that includes multiple first-round draft picks, which Seattle gave up to get Adams from Gang Green back in 2020.

With the Seahawks appearing to be entering a rebuild, NFL Twitter couldn’t help put pile on the trolling when it came to Adams, who demanded a trade to a team that now appear to be going nowhere. Here were some of the highlights:
