Could the Bills lose an offensive assistant to New York for a second straight year?

Per NFL Network insider and frequent WFAN contributor Ian Rapoport, the Jets have requested to interview Buffalo’s quarterbacks coach, Joe Brady, for their offensive coordinator vacancy - and with the Bills' season ending on Sunday, that interview could happen sooner than later if permission is granted.
Brady joined Buffalo this year when Ken Dorsey, the previous QB coach, was promoted to OC after Brian Daboll left to become head coach of the Giants. He had been the offensive coordinator in Carolina for the previous two seasons, but first made a name for himself as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach for the 2019 LSU team that saw Joe Burrow and an offense featuring Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire win the CFP National Championship.
The 33-year-old also won the Broyles Award that season, given to the top assistant in college football.
Brady, who played wide receiver in college at William & Mary, began his coaching career in 2013 and 2014 as the linebackers coach at his alma mater, and he also spent two seasons as a grad assistant at Penn State and two as an offensive assistant with the Saints before LSU.
The Jets interviewed Browns wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Chad O’Shea on Friday and Broncos quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak on Sunday, as they continue to search for a replacement for the departed Mike LaFleur.
