The Rangers have marked where history occurred on their home field last season.

There is now a plaque beyond the left field wall to commemorate where Aaron Judge’s historic 62nd home run landed in the penultimate game of the 2022 regular season, with the plaque including details all the way down to Texas’ own pitcher that the American League record-setting blast came off of.

That’s right, the Rangers hung their own Jesus Tinoco out to dry, putting his name on the plaque at Globe Life Field.

Some fans thought it was a weak move for a franchise to honor a moment that came at their own team’s expense, but others applauded the commemorating of baseball history.
