Rougned Odor is officially with the Yankees after clearing COVID-19 intake protocols, and as a result, the beard had to go.
Odor became the latest Yankee to have to bid farewell to his facial hair, part of the Yankees’ policy since the start of the George Steinbrenner era. Odor, who the Yanks announced had been reinstated from the COVID-19 injury list on Saturday, was pictured with Robinson Chirinos sporting his new, bald-faced look.

Odor will be used as infield depth for the Yanks, who optioned Tyler Wade as a result.
