Sal Licata went in on the Blue Jays on Tuesday night, after Toronto did plenty of complaining about base coach positioning, side-eyed glances, and whatever else, though it still ended up in a Yankees win.

“The Blue Jays continue to clown themselves,” Sal said. “We started yesterday talking about the nonsense that the Blue Jays made such a big deal…and you saw a carryover in tonight’s game, and you saw the Yankees stick it to them.

“That is what happens when you mess with a team that has Aaron Judge on it.”

Judge, who was at the center of the controversy on Monday for his peeks towards the first base line, needed no peeks on Tuesday before destroying a 450-foot home run in the eighth inning, proving to be the eventual game winner. For Sal, Judge’s continued dominance was another reason why the Blue Jays are just a joke.

“The Blue Jays stink. They have for a while,” Sal said. “I don’t want to hear about their young guys and how they’re up-and-coming, last year they were supposed to win the division, and what did they do? Nothing.

“The Blue Jays, they bow down to the pinstripes.”
