Morash: Yankee fans will rain boos on Carlos Rodon if they aren't 'spineless'

Carlos Rodon will get the ball on Wednesday night for the final Subway Series match of the season, and Shaun Morash says the boo birds better be out in full force in the Bronx.

“I wanted to kill him, because how does a New York athlete think they can get away with being dismissive to the mass?” Tiki said, to which Morash replied that the $162 million lefty better not get away with blowing a kiss to an angry Yankee fan during his last start.

“He won’t on Wednesday night if we’re not spineless anymore,” Morash said. “If you’re sitting next to me, he’s getting booed every time he walks off the mound every half inning.

“He can’t get away with what he got away with. He can’t miss that amount of time, sign that kind of contract, then come back and treat Yankee fans…like that kind of garbage and blow a kiss. We don’t forget that in New York.”

Evan doesn’t believe there will be many boos for Rodon, maybe even only from Morash.

“He’s the minority,” Evan said of Morash. “We’re at the game Wednesday night, he’s pitching Wednesday night, and when he takes the mound, other than him, there will not be a single fan that boos him.”

Morash says he will be far from the only one booing, or at least he should be.

“There will be quite a few,” Morash said. “And quite frankly, those who don’t have become spineless.”
