(at Madison Square Garden) Both teams advanced with blowout wins Thurs.; UConn crushed DePaul 45-22 in the first half on its way to a 94-60 quarterfinal win; Tyrese Martin scored 14 with 10 rebounds; Creighton wiped out Butler 87-56; the Bluejays won both regular season meetings; James Bouknight scored 40 against Creighton in December; the Huskies have won 7 Big East Tournament championships; UConn will make the NCAA's for the first time since 2012; winner plays Georgetown for the championship, Sat., 6:30 pm on Fox

America East men's championship: Hartford (14-8) vs. UMass-Lowell (11-11), Sat., 11 am (TV: ESPN2)

(at West Hartford) Winner will make first-trip to the NCAA Tournament; the Hawks earned home court with a semifinal win at Vermont, as guard Austin Williams scored 25; Williams has been on a roll, scored 29 pts. with 15 rebounds in a win over Binghamton on Feb. 27; the teams split a two-game regular season series in Lowell, MA.
