DEARBORN (WWJ) - Dearborn police are searching for two men they want to speak to about a shooting outside a local diner last month.
On Tuesday, the Dearborn PD released video and still shots of two yet-unidentified "persons of interest" captured on surveillance footage that morning. Witnesses said they saw the two men speaking with staff near the hostess stand prior to the incident in the parking lot.
Police are asking for tips from the public as an investigation continues.
"Our number one priority is citizen safety. When that is jeopardized, we will do everything in our power to ensure the perpetrator(s) are brought to justice," said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad, in a statement. "I am urging the public to come forward and provide information regarding the individuals involved in this incident."
