For example, whether you're a basketball fan or not, you've probably heard of these basketball legends, all of whom played for the Harlem Globetrotters: Meadowlark Lemon, Goose Tatum, Curly Neal, Marcus Haynes and Wilt Chamberlain.  But have you heard of John Lee Kline Junior, a native Detroiter, who played for the Globetrotters between 1953 and 1959?  He's the subject of the documentary "Jumpin' Johnny: The Incredible True Story Of Dr. John Kline," which will be showing at 8 p.m.

Another documentary, this one a short, focuses on the city of Flint's resurgence.  Forged in Flint highlights the city's entrepreneurs and what they're doing to help the city recover following the closure of GM plants in the 80s and, of course, the city's water crisis.  Forged in Flint will be shown at 2:10 in the afternoon.

On a lighter note, The Spoon that Whacks the Cradle is a comedy, produced by a filmmaking team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  This one is for mature audiences only and will be shown at 8:35 p.m.

And anyone who's in love or been in love, will be able to identify with "Sparks! A Robotic Love Story."  It airs at 4:15 p.m.

The feature film "Chasing After You" is a faith-based film from Detroit filmmaker Paige Alston.  It focuses on a successful young man, who "chases after" a young mother.  "Chasing After You" will be showing at 9:15 p.m.

But, this is just a snapshot of the movies that will be showing.  There are many more, so don't miss this event.
