DETROIT (WWJ) - Nine people were sent to the hospital following an early morning crash on Detroit's east side.
Police say a passenger van and a Ram truck collided on Nashville and Waltham streets, near McNichols Road and Gratiot Avenue, just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say those hurt were last listed in stable condition. A few were just complaining about pain and soreness; no critical injuries were reported.
It's unclear if the icy weather and road conditions were factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
