Following an apartment fire that destroyed 12 units in Livonia this morning, the American Red Cross is giving the Livonia Fire Department relief. Volunteers and workers for the Red Cross have been on the scene of the fire all day assisting both the displaced residents and first responders.
The fire occurred at the apartment complex on Ann Arbor Trail.
Roughly 20 people were affected by the devastating fire. The Red Cross Action Team case workers and has been in close contact with those individuals.
The American Red Cross will be aiding those displaced with monetary help for food, water, temporary shelter and blankets, as well as replacement medication that may have been lost in the blaze.
