DETROIT (WWJ) - If you love movies and you've never heard of the "RunPee" app, now's a good time to get acquainted with it. Especially if you plan to check out the three-hour-long "Avengers: Endgame".
Some people can't imagine checking out the latest flick without a giant box of popcorn, some candy and an ice cold beverage to wash it all down. But, with a run time exceeding three hours, naturally, nature will be calling for some moviegoers. But, now we're all in luck: there's an app for that. It's call RunPee, and it was created by Dan Gardner, who calls himself the CPO, Chief Peetime Officer, of RunPee.
"The theaters are gonna be packed for 'Endgame' and a lot of people, especially for a movie like that, over 3 hours long, are gonna need those pee times," Gardner said.
Yes, you read that correctly. The RunPee app gives you the perfect times to run to the bathroom. And, if you miss the first pee time, don't worry; there'll be another one.
"We generally have 2-4 pee times per movie," Gardner added.
Gardner says they try to make sure they don't miss the best scenes, but while it is subjective, he does admit that it's not an exact science.
Just in case you think this is a flash-in-the-pan idea, Run Pee is celebrating its 10-year anniversary.
See you at the movies!
