DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have launched an investigation after a body was found in a vacant home on the city's east side.
Investigators say a man's body was found early Friday morning on Coventry Street near 7 Mile Road and John R.
A cause of death wasn't immediately clear. The man is said to be between 30- and 40-years-old. His identity is unknown at this time.
Police say this case is not part of the ongoing investigation into a suspected serial killer in the city. Coventry is same street where the suspected killer's first victim was found, but investigators don't believe there is a connection.
