WESTLAND (WWJ) - Police in Westland are investigating after a dead body was found not far from city hall.
The discovery was made Wednesday morning near the old Malarkey's Irish Pub building along Warren Road just east of Central City Parkway.
Details about the victim's identity or a possible cause of death were not immediately released. Police say the situation is ongoing.
The pub, which opened in 1998, has been closed for business since St. Patrick's Day.
