WYANDOTTE (WWJ) - Authorities are investigating after a man's body was pulled from the Detroit River in Wyandotte.
Officials got a call about a possible body in the water near Grassy Island around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Within an hour, the body was recovered by the United States Coast Guard and transferred to Wyandotte police.
The body appears to have been in the water for quite some time, according to reports.
Other circumstances weren't immediately clear.
An investigation is ongoing.
