(WWJ) No! Wait! Come back! A man ran after his car as it rolled into a pond at an Oakland County gun range right after he closed the lid on a trunk full of guns.
It happened Saturday at Huron Valley Guns, according to Oakland County's Sheriff's Office.
By the time sheriff's deputies arrived, the 2004 Saturn was 7 feet under water, despite the owner's attempt to get back in as it raced toward the water.
The car was unoccupied when it went underwater. The water had "zero visibility conditions," a release from the Sheriff's Office said.
There's no word on what led the car to suddenly lurch as the driver opened the trunk.
The car was successfully recovered, and it appears in the video that the man was able to open the trunk and pull out his weapons before his Saturn sank.
