WHITE LAKE TWP. (WWJ) - What investigators say was a dispute between former roommates led to a shooting in Oakland County.
White Lake Township police have a 23-year old White Lake man in custody in connection with the incident, at around 3:45 a.m. Friday at a home in the 300 block of Willow Lane near M-59 and Bogie Lake Road.
Responding officers arrived to find a 22-year old White Lake man lying on the porch with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was treated by EMS at the scene before being taken to a local hospital where his condition is unknown.
It's unclear what, exactly, prompted the shooting. Names and further details have not been released as an investigation continues.
Once the investigation is complete, police said they will turn the findings over to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office which will determine what charges will be filed.
