DETROIT (WWJ) - Frustrated drivers can get agitated quickly -- especially on Michigan roads.

A new study shows that Detroit ranks in the top 10 nationally when it comes to aggressive drivers. Offending behaviors include speeding, rapid acceleration and hard braking.

The survey from GasBuddy puts Detroit at #8 in the country. Detroit also ranked third in speeding incidents.

"Frustration while driving in densely populated cities with high levels of congestion leads motorists to drive more aggressively and with more urgency," GasBuddy's Patrick DeHaan said in a statement.

The study found that Friday is the most aggressive day on the road, with 14% more aggressive driving events occurring compared to other days of the week. The least aggressive day on the road is Wednesday, with 6% fewer aggressive driving events.
