DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking for help locating a disabled teenager who disappeared after leaving school Thursday afternoon.
Police say 16-year-old Osheonia Robinson was last seen March 28 in the 2000 block of Cadieux, near Mack Avenue on the east side.
Robinson is partially blind, prone to seizures and uses a purple metal walker. Officials are especially concerned because she left without her medication.
Robinson is described as 5'11" tall and 150 lbs. with a light brown complexion, brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a red leather jacket, pink sweater, a blue school uniform shirt, khaki pants and black Jordan gym shoes.
Police say Robinson has gone missing in the past but returned home on her own.
Anyone who has seen Robinson or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact Detroit Police Department's Fifth Precinct at 313-596-5501. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
