One person has died after a car crashed into an Allen Park gas station.
Police tell WWJ that a car was traveling eastbound on Outer Drive at a high rate of speed around 8 p.m. Sunday when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed the Southfield Freeway, slamming into a Shell gas station, killing the driver. Authorities say the car struck two other cars and a concrete barrier.
One other person who had just finished pumping gas was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
It's not clear if drugs or alcohol was a factor but a toxicology screening will be performed
