(WWJ) Police say a suspected drunk driver is to blame for a crash on I-94 that sent one man to the hospital and shut down the freeway.
Michigan State Police say a Ford Mustang broke down on the freeway near Ecorse Road in Taylor around 1:30 this morning. As a tow truck was getting ready to tow the Mustang, another car went onto the shoulder and crashed into the Mustang.
The driver of the Mustang was trapped and had to be cut out of the car by Taylor firefighters.
He was taken by helicopter to the University of Michigan medical center. The other driver is in custody.
