WWJ -- Around 1,400 people in parts of Metro Detroit are without power Tuesday morning due to an outage.
The DTE Energy outage map shows about 1,400 customers are in the dark this morning in the city of Richmond, in northern Macomb County.
Officials say the cause is some sort of an equipment problem, and power should be restored sometime around 7:15 this morning.
DTE offers an interactive map for customers to check on outages.
