(WWJ) A Detroit firefighter was injured on a run to a vacant house that caught fire on the city's east side.
No word on what may have led to the blaze that collapsed the home on the 7600 block of Lantz in the Outer Drive/Van Dyke area.
Officials say the firefighter suffered second-degree burns to the feet and legs after going through the floor of the building.
He was treated and released from an area hospital and placed off-duty.
