OCSO detectives believe Curtaindoll was shot after a fight with his girlfriend's father sometime around Thanksgiving; an autopsy concluding that he died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Deputies have arrested the father, 49-year-old Kenneth "Hawk" Legrant Hawkins of Pontiac, for the shooting. He was arraigned Saturday and remains held without bond in the Oakland County Jail on multiple felony charges, including murder and disinterment and/or mutilation of a dead body.
Investigators are now searching for Curtaindoll's girlfriend, whom authorities believe fled the area after her father's arrest.
