(WWJ) An early morning shootout in Warren ended with the suspect in the hospital.
WWJ's Charlie Langton reported it was like the "Wild, Wild West in Warren" at 3 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim was walking home from a concert near 8 Mile and Hoover at that time, and the suspect approached him and attempted a robbery. The two began arguing, and the suspect opened fire.
And so did the victim. The man who began the attack ended up taking a bullet.
Both survived -- the attempted victim unharmed. The suspect is expected to face charges soon.
