(WWJ) Interstate-275 in Canton was closed for eight hours early Friday after a fatal crash.
Michigan State Police told WWJ 950 that a 53-year-old man from Redford was speeding on I-275 near Michigan Avenue when he rear-ended the car in front of him. That vehicle flipped over, killing the driver.
Unclear is whether the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
The Redford man failed field sobriety tests on site.
Police said they obtained a warrant to draw blood for a blood alcohol level tests, but those results are not yet available.
The investigation continues Friday morning.
