TROY (WWJ) - Good news for drivers in Oakland County where I-75 has reopened to traffic.
All lanes of the northbound freeway were closed following a multi-vehicle crash at around 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Big Beaver Rd. in Troy, with traffic being directed off the freeway at 12 Mile Rd. All but one lane was closed on the southbound side, too, but all lanes on both sides reopened by around 11:30 a.m.
Drivers headed through that area around the lunch hours should expect some residual backups.
Authorities said multiple cars were involved in the crash, as well as one semi truck, although other circumstances are not clear.
While this was described as a "serious" crash, there have not details released yet about any injuries.
