DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities are investigating a disturbing incident at the Wayne County Jail.
Detroit Police say corrections officers were performing a routine bed check around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday when they found a 21-year old male inmate hanging in his cell.
The man was alive when he was found and rushed to a local hospital.
Authorities say the man is in stable condition.
No further details were released.
