(WWJ) A man and woman are in jail after a carjacking in Troy and police chase that ended in mid-Michigan.
Michigan State Police say after the suspects stole a Dodge Charger yesterday, and troopers spotted the car near Ann Arbor.
The driver wouldn't stop, police say, and led them on a chase that ended with a crash on a rural road west of Jackson.
The two suspects eventually bailed from the stolen ride and took off on foot, but police were able to find them with the help of K-9 units and a police helicopter.
No injuries were reported. The suspects are facing charges in Troy as well as in Jackson County.
"Jackson Post troopers were assisted by troopers from Brighton & Marshall Post, Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Albion P.D. & Springport P.D. Great work by all," Michigan State Police tweeted.
