SAGINAW (WWJ) - A man who traveled to Saginaw for a funeral is in critical condition after he was shot while driving on I-75.
Michigan State Police say the 29-year old was shot around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday along southbound I-75 in Buena Vista Township in Saginaw County.
He was taken to the hospital and last reported in critical condition.
Investigators say the shots were fired from another vehicle and the suspects got away.
"We are not calling this a random act at this time," police said in a tweet. No further details were provided.
The State Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
