(WWJ) After he allegedly stole an ambulance, a warrant was issued by the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office against Gunnar Theodor Ahlson, 42.
He's charged with carjacking, fleeing police officers in the third degree, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Police say Ahlson was being transported from McLaren Hospital in Mount Clemens when he overpowered two employees of an ambulance company and stole their vehicle.
Behind the wheel, he tooled down Hall until turning north on Schoenherr and crashing into two Macomb County Sheriff's Department vehicles.
A deputy was taken to a hospital for a precautionary examination.
Ahlson is expected to be arraigned Monday afternoon in Clinton Township.
