DETROIT (WWJ) - A 29-year-old man is facing life behind bars after being convicted of a triple murder at a west side Detroit White Castle.

A jury on Thursday found William Wilbourn-Little guilty of three counts of first-degree murder, and one count each of felon in possession of a firearm and felony firearm.

According to police, two masked men walked into the White Castle on W. Warren near Livernois at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday, September 9 and fired shots into the restaurant. Three victims -- 20-year-old DeShawn Gadson, 24-year-old Trevaughn Anthony and 25-year-old Rashawn Harrington -- were pronounced dead at the scene.

Wilbourn-Little, identified as the gunman, was arrested and charged just over a month after the incident. His accomplice was released without charges.

First-degree murder carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole. Sentencing is set for May 16.
