DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are investigating a deadly shooting on the city's west side Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators were called to the intersection of West Grand Boulevard and 14th Street Wednesday afternoon, where they found a man in his 50s shot dead inside a white truck.
Police told WWJ gun was found inside the truck. The vehicle appeared to have sustained front-end damage, according to a pitcure on Twitter.

May 15, 2019 Police were still investigating what may have led to the shooting and possible crash.
Authorities had not released any information about the victim or any possible suspects.
