INKSTER (WWJ) - Two men are being held on $1 million cash bonds in connection with a murder in Inkster that police say stemmed from a drug deal.

Kerriion Antonio Pope, 17, and Ajhaun Lynn Davis, 29, were arraigned Friday at the 22nd District Court on charges of felony murder, armed robbery and two counts of felony firearm.

Investigators arrested the suspects Tuesday -- a day after the 26-year-old victim was shot and killed along Lehigh Street, near Inkster Road and Annapolis Avenue. The shooting started as a marijuana deal, though police haven't said if the victim was trying to buy or sell the drug.

According to police, the victim and suspects were in separate vehicles that pulled up side-by-side and at some point, an argument broke out and shots were fired. The victim tried to run away, but collapsed and died.

Both suspects remain jailed.
